It's always been said that payday loans are almost always a bad idea - and that is true. But sometimes, it's the only thing that can get you out of the turmoil. On those occasions, careful use of loans is essential.
But if you're reading this, chances are you're thinking of getting a loan. If you are, then you might be having a lot of questions in your mind about who will be giving out the loan and how quick you can get one..
The problem lies there. An exit strategy is not what you're thinking about first. You're just plain interested with getting the money through an agreement. The next thing that follows isn't there. The sad truth is that most of the people who takes out loans are not really capable of handling such loans properly.
Now I've said it clearly. Payday loans aren't bad, but unwise handling of these loans place people in a trap if they can't afford it. What usually happens is that you set out with good intentions of taking out a loan and repaying it as soon as you can. Then unexpectedly another "situation" hits and you find yourself needing some more money again. And then you top up your loan. Hey, repayment only costs a few dollars a week, right? You can afford it. Now you get to hear their offers and you'll feel that it's the same thing that you need. So you top up again and the repayments just keep getting higher. Trap.
A lot of people are just incapable of stopping themselves and repeat the same cycle of borrowing and spending, over and over. If you want to pay $10 to get a something that's worth $5 then go ahead and keep getting payday loans. But if you really want to better your financial position, stop spending much and as much as possible, stop borrowing money. If you use your car everyday to work and it breaks, that's something you have to deal with. But be really honest with yourself - aren't there lots of that may be nice but are not really things you couldn't live without?
Be honest and just accept it - think about the things that you can really cut back without starving yourself to death? Because guess what? You don't really need the latest of everything you need. And truth is, your life will really go on without them.
So if you keep finding yourself in need of a payday loan every time, take a good look at the mirror and you'll see a loan shark standing right in front of you. You're actually doing it to yourself. It's really that easy for them, and they don't even have to make phone calls. Just a website or a toll-free number and the promise of easy money "within the day" will do.
Is this shocking to you? I hope it is. It's really the dark secret that people ignore. The secret is that it's they themselves that get themselves into a mess and keep doing the same mistake. Nobody else is to be blamed.
And this basically means that if you find yourself inside a mess, you yourself can get yourself out of the mess as well. You just have to change things and stop doing what you are doing. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is just plain stupid, as others would say. And personally I think that's true.
